Jacaranda - Pretoria

It is that time of the year here in South Africa when the Jacaranda Trees are in full blossom. This tree has a beautiful purple color and a fragrance second to nothing.  Pretoria, about 50 Km from Johannesburg has a plethora of trees throughout the city and is known for its beauty this time of the year.

This morning the missionaries made their annual trek to see the Jacaranda Trees and to stop for lunch at our favorite Fish & Chips shop.  Enjoy the beauty of nature.

Taken at a distance from atop a high hill in Pretoria. Trees lined on both sides of the streets.

This is at the Union Buildings - government center in Pretoria.

Another street lined with Jacaranda's.

We so are enjoying the color and beauty. (Jenee, especially, since she LOVES the color purple!)
